Rachel Bochner has teamed up with her producer/co-writer Tiger Darrow for her latest single, ‘If I’m Gunna Be Sad’. It’s a track that indulges in her left-field pop songwriting, with razor-sharp lyricism blending seamlessly into effortless melodies, with an undercurrent of thick, bouncy bass lines guiding us through the track. “The song feels badass but without taking itself too seriously, so I really wanted to play with bouncing (pun intended) between empowerment/bad bitchery and the silly/ridiculousness of two grown-ass women falling over themselves in a pink bouncy house intended for children,” she explains.
